Nashville

So Megan and I just got back from the Country Music Awards in Nashville TN! It was so fun. I am glad Megan was able to come with me! I think she needed the time to relax after all the stuff with Peyton. Here are some pics from our fun trip

As many of you know Megan's little boy Peyton was in critical condition this week at Primary Children's Hospital. He is doing much better. Thank to all of you who have had him in your prayers! Dear Family & Friends...Attached are some recent pictures from Elder Meredith in the mission field.
Tyler should have left the PERU Mission Training Center 2 weeks ago. An hour before he was to board a bus to take him to the airport to fly to Bolivia, he received word that Bolivia was not allowing US Citizens into their country. Tyler has been temporarily assigned to the Peru Lima East Mission for now. He doesnt' know at this time if he will be reassigned to a new mission, get in to Bolivia, or stay in Peru.
Anyway...he is enjoying the work and been working with some great missionaries. Love, Shawna

Chad has a new baby girl!

Cleo MeKenna arrived on Sunday July 13th weighing in at 7 pound 14 ounces and 19 inches long.She was not happy to be out of her warm home!!!! Jackie and baby are doing great! This is girlnumber 4 for Chad and it is our 7th grandchild. Isn't she beautiful!!!!

Melissa and Her Family

first pic is kenna in her dance costume, she loves to dance. They asked her to try out for the competition team and she made it so she is way excited for dance to start up again in the fall. Brindy is in the 2nd pic she loves to dance too and i wish i could send a video of her last performance she was dancing and had to stop mid song so she could pick her nose in front of the whole audience. the third one is also brindy she fell asleep on the couch and the 4th is kenna she broke her arm camping. They had mini monkey bars on a playground there and she fell off and fractured her right arm, she says its too bad she is off of school for the summer cause if she was in school she wouldnt have to do any writing for 6 weeks. the next two are of addison she is all personality she can give the biggest crusty faces and two seconds later she has the biggest cheesy smile then the next two are of aspen she is my little monkey child she climbs into and on top of every thing and is constantly falling and bumping her head she has always got a bruise so the next pics are of aspen (hollys daughter ashlynn) and addi then there is brindy and brylee (hollys oldest) they have a love hate relationship they are either so cute and nice to each other or fighting and crying over everything then there is some pics of us making christmas cookies and lets just say im not the best cook in the world i tried to make dark green frosting and it turned out runny and black so we decided to make the best of the situation and use it any ways so me and holly made these ginger bread gangsters and took the plates to all my neighbors . then last but not least a couple pics of me and holly

Carla and Milt are Grandparents again!

Just wanted you to know Milt and I are grandparents again Lylah Ruby was born on June 29 weighs 6lbs 10 oz. I guess it was a long hard labor and for Laura who is Derricks wife and they finally had to take the baby c-section. I will get pictures asap from the proud dad. Can I just say its hard to have kids so far away (Louisville Kentucky) Carla
